·       Work with individual children or small groups (pre K through  4th grade). Provide one on one reading practices and enjoyment through conversation and re-reading familiar books - hands-on activities such as writing, letter play and word games - reading aloud - interacting with children as they read new books. Individual time requirements vary according to site needs. Example site locations include local school districts and local libraries.

Job qualifications: Previous office experience preferred, but not required.  Must be reliable, conscientious, self-assured, personable, and energetic.  Possess friendly and professional manner and be comfortable working with a wide variety of constituencies.  Good typing skills and strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs required. Data entry experience and working knowledge of Microsoft excel desired.Excellent attention to detail required.The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 to 4.  The days and times are flexible.

Must be able to work well with others, be honest, trustworthy and discreet.  This position does require, nights, weekends, and holidays.  This position can result in summer employment and preference will go to those willing to work summers.  Work study students are encouraged to apply but direct hire is available.
